The Ultimate Adventure package features the outdoor
activities Honduras has become known for. Upon your arrival in Roatan
a Paya Bay representative will meet and transfer you to the east end of
the island to our tropical paradise. Your 6 night stay here will allow
you to scuba dive or snorkel the 2nd largest barrier reef, lay out and
relax on either of our two beaches and enjoy the charm and warmth of a
boutique hotel. With only 10 rooms you know you will not be lost in a
crowd. After your 6th night at Paya Bay Resort you will transfer by plane
to the city of La Ceiba on the coast of Honduras. After landing in La
Ceiba our personally selected guides from Maya Temple Tours will meet
you and drive you up the mountains following the Rio Cangrejal. The Jungle
River Lodge alongside the Rio Cangrejal will equip you for either white-water
rafting down class II - V rapids OR experiencing the thrill of flying
through the rain-forest on the Canopy Tour.  After
your morning adventure on the Cangrejal your guide will transfer you by
van to the city of San Pedro Sula in midland Honduras (about a 2 hour
drive). Your base camp for these two nights will be the Intercontinental
San Pedro Sula (Ok, so a luxury hotel is a little different then most
base camps but you're going to need a nice place to rest after these activities!)
Your guide will pick you up on your second day and take you by van to
Pulhapanzak Waterfalls. This 200 foot high waterfall is sheer excitement.
You will navigate through the water and behind the falls to find several
caves and swim in the refreshing mountain water. Afterwards your guide
will transfer you to nearby Lake Yojoa to enjoy this pristine lake surrounded
by mountains. Finally your last adventure will be a stop at a crocodile
farm. You will get behind the scenes glimpses of how these farms work
and of course up-close viewing of the crocodiles. Of course with any adventure
there is more excitement to be found throughout the trip but we can't
spoil it all!
