Pigeon Cay |
| Imagine escaping for a day to a beautiful tropical cay surrounded by crystal-clear waters in every shade of blue. Imagine donning your snorkeling gear and exploring a fringing reef that is only a few feet from the most perfect white sand beach you've ever laid eyes on. Imagine finding a cool, shaded place under the coconut trees to put down your beach towel and relax as you are caressed by a warm, clean Caribbean breeze. |
|
| Merely an hour's boat ride from Paya Bay, Pigeon Cay is one of our guests' favorite excursions. Resort staff will accompany you to prepare a delicious lunch as you snorkel and explore the underwater wonders. The snorkeling is probably some of the best you will ever do in your life! The combination of near perfect visibility, the variety and health of the coral, as well as the plethora of fish life not commonly found anywhere else. |
|
| As a extra bonus, this excursion includes a ride through the Helene Canal, a natural mangrove canal that separates Roatan and St. Helene island. Guests have reported seeing saltwater alligators on the banks of this canal. It's also common to see juvenile sting rays on the canal's sea floor as you steam through. |

| The scuba diving and snorkeling were out of this world! We were again, so very well taken care of on each dive. |
