Paya Bay Resort is an active supporter of the conservation efforts promulgated by the Roatan Marine Park organization. We have donated styrofoam buoys to mark channels and coral heads to protect our precious barrier reef from accidental damage. Each bungalow features a list of recommended actions our guests can take to reduce their impact on the environment during their stay. We believe that the onus is on the current residents, businesses, and visitors to the island to practice active conservation. It is the only option we have to ensure that future generations will continue to enjoy the eons-old treasure that is our barrier reef.
